Following the devastation of Hurricane Irma, which brought 12 metres of water into the property, the team didn't just rebuild; they reimagined. The management took this as a huge opportunity to completely rethink every single accommodation. After 26 months and a €67 million reinvestment, Eden Rock emerged more breathtaking than ever. Every design decision was weighed against the brand's four core pillars: Eden, Rock, Chic, and Glamour.

The "Guest Friend" Philosophy

Q. Caroline: What truly sets Eden Rock apart is your unique approach to service. How have you redefined traditional hospitality to create such a deeply personal experience for your guests?

What truly separates a beautiful hotel from a world-class destination is the service. At Eden Rock, the traditional barriers of hospitality have been completely removed. There is no formal reception desk and no traditional concierge. Instead, a dedicated guest relations team roams the property, proactively coming to the guests.

The property consciously avoids the word "clients," choosing instead to refer to visitors as "guest friends." The goal is to welcome every single person who enters the hotel as someone who could be a family member. The hiring process focuses entirely on recruiting for genuine personality rather than just technical expertise, proudly calling the team the "Eden Rockers."
