Lucinda and Matthew’s Magical Day

Lucinda and Matthew's Magical Day

Castigliano bride Lucinda and husband Matthew tied the knot at Horsley Towers, East Horsley on the 27th May 2017, surrounded by family and friends. Lucinda looked gorgeous in a bespoke La Traviata gown from our Knightsbridge flagship store.

What did you like the most about your dress?

The dress was a proper princess dress with lots of sparkles which was exactly what I wanted. I had it made bespoke with added lace sleeves and buttons all the way up the back. I studied music at university and this dress was called La Traviata (an opera) which was another sign that this was THE DRESS!

What did you enjoy the most about your Caroline Castigliano experience?

The whole experience was incredible. I was actually really sad to take the dress away as I knew I wouldn’t be going back again! My dress was amazing! Each time I had a fitting staff came in to see me in it, I even had a few of them in tears! Meeting Caroline was a pleasure and I wouldn’t have changed anything about the whole experience.

What was the best moment of the day?

Walking in to the reception dinner and being announced as Mr and Mrs Cooper-Jones!

Any tips for brides-to-be?

Enjoy every second. So many people say it goes in a flash and they are not wrong. We made the effort to go off for a few walks during the night as we were so busy with all our friends and family. Try to stop and take a breath as often as you can. The day will be magical but will go far too fast!

A big thank you from the bride to…

My fantastic parents and in-laws for their patience and for constantly supporting us throughout the process with their love and understanding.
