Emma & Jarryd’s Elegant Hedsor House Wedding

Castigliano bride Emma Ramsay, married Jarryd Venables, at Hedsor House in Buckinghamshire, on 14th October 2017. She says:

We really had no idea where we wanted to get married, but we knew we wanted a place that would be just ours for the weekend. When we found Hedsor House I knew it was somewhere special. From the minute we drove down the driveway, we knew that was our wedding venue. The whole place was just magical and I knew that was where I wanted to marry Jarryd. In fact, after our wedding, so many people told us, that they have never been to a wedding at a venue like that before. The magnificence of the house and the grounds made our day truly special.

Jarryd proposed on a surprise weekend away in the Blackwood Forest in Hampshire. He rented a lovely secluded wooden chalet in the woods and took me on a champagne picnic where he proposed. We were the only two people in the beautiful countryside – it couldn’t have been more perfect.

The bride looked stunning in a bespoke crepe satin and silk organza designer wedding gown from the Caroline Castigliano Knightsbridge flagship store.

How did you feel in your Castigliano gown?

I loved it! I can’t even begin to put into words how much I loved it. It had been about 8 months since I chose the dress until I went to my first fitting and I was so nervous. I was worried the dress wouldn’t fit me, I couldn’t remember how the dress looked, I was questioning even if there was a long enough train on the dress (I wanted that wow factor train). When I saw my dress hanging there, I nearly cried, it was so beautiful and completely surpassed my expectations; I didn’t want to take it off.

On my wedding day, I felt like the most beautiful girl in the world and it was thanks to my phenomenal dress. I will probably never wear anything like that again but will cherish that feeling for the rest of my life – it was sheer perfection.

What did you enjoy the most about your Caroline Castigliano Knightsbridge experience?

It was seamless from start to finish. Everyone who we dealt with was so nice and helpful and overall just made the experience enjoyable. In particular the two ladies who did my fittings were fantastic. Even though they are meeting brides every day, they really knew how to make me feel special in my dress.
